That’s why we ensure you have the best kitesurfing experience!
Wind
We’re fortunate to enjoy excellent wind conditions year-round on the Red Sea, with stable winds for most of the year and a mix of light and strong winds in winter. For the best and safest kitesurfing lessons, we aim for 12-26 knots.
Lagoon
El Gouna features large, flat water lagoons ideal for all kitesurfing levels. With side-onshore winds from the North-Northwest averaging 15-25 knots and warm summer waters, you can kite in comfort and soak up the sun!
Temperature
In Egypt, summer temperatures can soar into the 30s°C, while winter stays pleasantly in the low 20s°C. In summer, you can kite in a bikini or board shorts. For Spring and Autumn (May to October), short wetsuits are ideal, and for winter (December to March), long wetsuits are recommended.
Tide
The lagoon is shallow throughout, allowing you to stand anywhere, with deeper areas available for more advanced kiting. There’s ample space for beginners, advanced riders, students, and independent kiters. Tides are lower in summer and higher in winter.
